Ceramic Backsplash with Under Cabinet Lighting Project. The home owners recently installed new granite countertops, and wanted an accenting ceramic backsplash installed. Fresh backerboard was installed, the tile laid out, cut and installed, grouted, sealed, and the final touch of LED undercabinet lighting was installed to make this renovated kitchen shine. This kitchen project went from weathered, tired walls to fresh clean tile that the customers can enjoy for years to come. Thanks again for letting Pioneering Project Management, LLC help!
A Spanish Artisan Tile Kitchen Backsplash. These repeat customers pulled out all the stops for this project with more than 42 sq ft worth of artisan ceramic tile in order to complement their newly-installed custom countertops (countertops installed by a different company). Pioneering PM installed profile-cut tile around the kitchen window sill and around crown molding above the door to create a continuous flow of tile from one countertop (sink side) to the other side (stove side). The custom color-matched silicone caulking along all perimeter edges allowed the grout & caulk to connect seamlessly. As always, thank you Karen & Stan for allowing Pioneering PM to work in your beautiful home, and thank you for all the help you pitched in during the project! Can't wait for the next one!
Ceramic and Glass Tile Mosaic Backsplash Installation Project from 2014. This project involved the removal of the previous Silestone backsplash, installation of new cement backer board, tile installation, grouting, and sealing, all completed around existing outlets and appliances. The homeowner's under-cabinet lighting nicely accentuates this unique ceramic/glass mosaic. Fun project for two new parents that needed a quick update to their kitchen completed around their busy schedule.
A Different kind of Vinyl Kitchen floor: The homeowners wanted a new kitchen floor, and wanted the look of ceramic tile with the warmth of vinyl. The solution: vinyl tile that installs and performs just like ceramic. (Armstrong Flooring's "Alterna" vinyl flooring) It installs and sets immediately (yes, I said immediately) like vinyl with special pre-mixed mortar, and even grouts like ceramic with special pre-mixed grout (very handy). Did I mention it can be grouted immediately after installing the tile? You heard correct: immediately. Warm to the touch even on cool mornings, and is versatile enough to properly adhere and conform to slightly uneven surfaces. This tile choice, and its 45-degree installed angle created a really a nice change to the homeowners' kitchen. They are planning to remodel their cabinetry and this floor will really work well with what they have planned. Thank you again Chris & Amanda for letting me work in your beautiful home. Can't wait for the next project!
One of PPM's more challenging projects: glass tile kitchen backsplash. Plenty of outlets to cut around, border edging to fabricate, and even some bull-nosed outside corners to create. Challenging and time-consuming project, but definitely worth it in the end. Now it's time to paint some edges and put back up the curtains. Thank you again Tom and Kathryn for letting me work inside your beautiful home.
Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring for a kitchen update project. The homeowner wanted a durable and attractive new kitchen floor, without the considerable costs of ceramic tile. The choice was this rustic vinyl plank flooring that runs throughout the kitchen, hallway, pantry, and laundry area. Thank you Maryanne for letting PPM install this long-lasting flooring in your home!
These recently retired homeowners had Pioneering PM install this beautiful variable-width & length cork-backed luxury vinyl plank flooring as a quick and cost-effective way to improve the look of their kitchen. Pioneering PM was able to install this luxury flooring over the existing vinyl sheet flooring, finishing up the job with new baseboard trim painted to match the existing color. (The owner of Pioneering PM liked this type of flooring so much he may just install the same exact flooring in his home.) In spite of all of the angled cuts & corners 😉, thanks to you two for trusting and letting Pioneering work in your home, and Pioneering is looking forward to our next project!
Brushed Aluminum & Natural Stone Tile Kitchen Backsplash Project. After this homeowner had her cabinets & walls painted (by a different contractor), she selected a bold brushed aluminum & natural stone tile backsplash for Pioneering PM to finish off the kitchen. The mosaic tile & accenting grout color perfectly complemented the new cabinet & wall colors, and created a clean modern look. Upon completing the tile project, Pioneering PM installed new cabinet hardware for the final touch in this newly-remodeled kitchen. Thank you Carol for letting Pioneering PM work with you. Can't wait for the next project!
Ceramic Tile Mosaic Backsplash project. Home owner had recently performed a kitchen remodel, and added these new cabinets/new counter top. Owner needed to match the tile installation with the other 1/2 of the kitchen. Installed tile, grouted, and sealed around new outlets/switches and appliances. Challenging project, but both PPM and the Home Owner were very pleased with the result. Hope you are enjoying it Linda and Bill!
Quick Undercabinet Lighting project. Here's a quick update to a repeat customer's kitchen. Even during the middle of the day, these countertops/cabinet areas were dark and bleak. Pioneering PM added several plug-in undercabinet LED light assemblies that were easy to install and did NOT require penetrating the wall to access electric. After about an hour, these areas looked much brighter, and this customer was very happy to now be able to fully see in these corners/recesses. Thanks for letting Pioneering PM help, and can't wait for the next project.
